South Morang station: Peak experience a road less travelled

Epping loans manager Alex Cedeno, who works in the northern suburbs but regularly attends meetings in the city, said the new station would not make a significant difference to him but it would to his wife.

Living part way between the two stations, he would catch his morning train from South Morang instead of Epping and he hoped the drive from his home to the new station would be quicker because he could avoid peak-hour traffic on Findon Road.

“For people like my wife, who commutes every day, it [the new station] will make a big difference,” he said.
