LANDOWNERS can still apply for the state government’s $50 million voluntary bushfire buy-back scheme if they meet the criteria.
The program aims to resettle landowners who do not wish to rebuild on their burnt out properties. Applications for the Victorian Bushfire Buy-back Scheme will be open until Thursday, May 31.
Landowners who have already registered their interest will be contacted. Details: visit justice.vic.gov.au/buyback.
