Parents who have exhausted all options to keep their kids occupied these school holidays can take a break on Sunday.
Whittlesea council, the Mill Park Garden Club and Plenty Valley Arts have organised a day of fun for creative-minded youngsters.
The picnic area in Hawkestowe Park at South Morang will be set up to offer pottery classes, painting, printing and craft. Expert face painters will be there to transform little ones into Cinderellas, lions or paint their favourite footy team colours.
This free event is for kids of all ages.
Families are encouraged to bring along a picnic but food and drink vans will be on site on the day. It’s on Sunday, April 12, from 10am-2pm at Hawkestowe Park (picnic area), Gordons Road, South Morang.
