For the past two years, Lisa Frood has shaved off Rebecca Elliot’s hair in front of shoppers in the name of charity.
Ms Elliot, of Whittlesea, has shaved off her shoulder-length hair for the past six years during the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation.
Having done the honours for the past few years, Mill Park’s Ms Frood decided it’s time to take the plunge herself.
For this year’s World’s Greatest Shave in March, the 49-year-old hairdresser will have her own hair shaved off while she simultaneously shaves Ms Elliot’s hair.
“Last year I decided it was my turn,” she said. “You give with one hand and receive with the other.”
