Choristers have been rehearsing for the past 10 weeks to ensure their vocal cords are up to scratch for Whittlesea council’s 15th Carols by Candlelight.
The 60-member choir will sing carols in German, Maltese, Italian and Mandarin on Friday, December 12, from 7pm at Readleap Reserve in Mill Park, with accompaniment from the Diamond Valley Brass Band.
While the choir will be centrepoint of the evening, there will be an animal farm, face painting and art and craft stalls, not to mention a special visit from Santa and his elves.
Proceeds from a barbecue and the sale of electronic candles will be donated to respite provider Scope.
