Junction Coosts thrashed North Heidelberg Hawks 10-1 in the Northern Darts Association’s A-grade competition. They were joined on the winners’ list by The Shooters, Westside Dockers and Cramers Legends. In B-grade, Watsonia Saints, Pres/Res Lakies Blue, Whittlesea Eagles and Junction Grifters won
their matches. North Heidelberg Dogs, East Keilor Boozers and Coolaroo Storm were the winners in C-grade.

Gladstone Park lost its match against Clarkefield Brumbies in the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association’s George Luscombe Shield. Set 267, the Brumbies reached their target with only six wickets down. In the Vic Kyte Shield competition, Campbellfield and Donnybrook both claimed victory.

Rivergum’s bowlers did the job against Keon Park in the North Metro Cricket Association’s Jika Shield. After making 129 on day one, Rivergum bowled Keon Park out for 112. Gary Moorcroft was the best with the bat for Keon Park with 45. It was Keon Park’s first loss for the season. In Quick Shield, Donath defeated Northcote United, while Bundoora Park lost to Heidelberg West.
