A chance to help Super Cooper
Friends and family have rallied behind Cassie Batten and Rhett Wallace’s son Cooper and organised a fundraising day to help the family buy a car that can accommodate a wheelchair.
Super Cooper Day will be held at South Morang Primary School from 10am on Saturday, November 8. There will be market stalls, rides, auctions and live performances; and the plan is to raise about $22,000. Cooper, 3, has severe brain damage, cerebral abscesses, hydrocephalus, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
Do you know the mystery child?
Northern Hospital staff are trying to track down a 10-year-old Coolaroo child who sent them a mystery letter earlier this month. They would like to thank the child personally for the letter, which was decorated with colourful drawings and stickers and arrived in an envelope full of lollies. If you know who the child is, contact the hospital’s corporate communications via corporatecommunications@nh.org.au or phone 8405 2888.
