The fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen came alive at a new playground in Epping unveiled by Whittlesea mayor Mary Lalios last week. The council spent $500,000 to upgrade the playground at Winchester Park, which now includes a new seating area, barbecue equipment, a half-size basketball court, concrete pedestrian pathways, an open grass area and a drinking fountain.
