Once an enclave that accommodated Holmes a Court’s Heyesburgh Horse Stud, Hidden Valley is the rural setting for this sprawling family house with a mixture of elegant and spread-out-in-comfort rooms affording each family member space

to enjoy.

Of the five extra-big bedrooms, four are in their own wing and each sport robes, two of them walk-ins. A bathroom and powder room share the wing.

The main bedroom at the front has a large walk-in wardrobe and an en suite with spa and period-style vanity unit with twin basins. There’s also a tucked-away study which could serve as a sixth bedroom.

A refined mural in the Italianate style marks the end of the tiled entry hall which is flanked by open lounge and dining rooms (with feature fireplace) for more formal occasions.

A large, tiled family hub wraps around the kitchen where blackwood cabinetry, a curved island bench and stainless-steel appliances make it a pleasing heart of the home. A games room (big enough for a full-sized billiard table) has vibrant red-painted walls and a timber bar; roman blinds here (and in other rooms) are quality inclusions.

Most rooms have french doors to outdoor spaces, including two paved areas to sit and soak up the serenity found on the treed land of about 1.21 hectares. Other keynotes are high ceilings, a double garage and a third garage or storeroom.
