TAC Cup: Calder Cannons fire at awards

Three Calder Cannons and a Northern Knight have been named in the TAC Cup team of the year.

Cannons Touk Miller and Peter Wright were selected in the forward line of the team at the Morrish
Medal best and fairest count on Sunday night, while Paul Ahern was named on the interchange bench.

Northern’s Kyle Langford was also selected as an interchange player.

In the Morrish Medal, Miller polled the most votes out of the two sides.

Miller finished equal third on 12 votes, five behind the winner, Gippsland Power’s Alex Carr.

Calder’s Jayden Foster was presented with the competition’s leading goalkicker award.
