TAC Cup

Calder Cannons finished on top of the TAC Cup ladder following a win against Northern Knights in the final round of the season. There wasn’t much between the two teams in the first half but Cannons tall forwards Jayden Foster and Peter Wright took control in the second half to lead them home 14.10 (94) to 10.12 (72). Foster kicked six to finish as the league’s leading goalkicker, while Wright bagged four. The Cannons will meet North Ballarat Rebels in the qualifying final at Visy Stadium on Sunday.
