Managing animal pests

Traditional management options to control rabbits, foxes and other serial pests – such as shooting or baiting – are often unsuitable for farms on the urban fringe. Effective approaches, such as fencing techniques, guard animals, netting and habitat destruction, will be introduced at a free field day this Sunday. From 9.30am-3pm at Whittlesea Showgrounds, McPhees Road. Bookings close Thursday.
