The first joint course for Country Fire Authority and Melbourne Fire Brigade recruits is set to start at Craigieburn’s new $109 million Victorian emergency management training centre next month. State Emergency Service volunteers will be put through their paces this weekend, starting on Sunday with training exercises that simulate real emergencies. The new centre takes an all-hazards, all-agencies approach to emergency management in Victoria.
