Big V

Craigieburn will have to wait and see whether they have done enough to make the Big V division 1 women’s basketball finals. Needing a win to stay alive, the Eagles defeated Camberwell Dragons 56-36 on Saturday. The victory was never in doubt, with the Eagles keeping the Dragons to less than 10 points in three of the four quarters. Tenille Cann top scored with 20 points. The fifth-placed Eagles have a bye this week and need other results to go their way to play finals.
