Child abuse response

Whittlesea council will host a discussion about various types of child abuse and how to respond to disclosures. Dry stone wall tour

Discover the history of Whittlesea’s landscape on this tour of the area’s dry stone walls. Wall enthusiast Bruce Batten will share his knowledge of the structures made without mud or cement. Timor conference

Hume and Moreland councils have been partners in community projects in Timor-Leste for a decade. Later this month, the councils will take part in Working Together for Timor-Leste: The Next 10 Years, a conference and expo organised by the Victorian Local Governance Association, Victoria University, Oxfam Australia, Australian Volunteers International and the Australia Timor-Leste Friendship Network. Timor-Leste Minister of State and Council of Ministers president Agio Pereira will be keynote speaker. At Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre, Preston on July 25 and 26.
