Broadmeadows: Man held over alleged factory burglary, hunt for two others

Craigieburn police have arrested one man at the scene of an alleged factory burglary in Broadmeadows early on Friday morning.

Police noticed a Nissan Patrol four-wheel-drive with a boat trailer acting suspiciously near factories on Lakeside Drive near Northcorp Boulevard after 3am.

Police said they attempted to speak to the driver, while three men they believe were attempting to break into a factory fled on foot.

The 4WD driver drove at police and fled the scene while they were arresting one of the men.

Police were not injured. A 23-year-old man remains in custody. The police are now searching for the two men and a blue or silver Nissan Patrol.

Lakeside Drive is blocked at Northcop Boulevard.
