Jacana was on the receiving end of an excellent display of football by Cranbourne in the opening round of the Victorian Women’s Football League division 3/4.
Cranbourne dominated from start to finish keeping Jacana goalless to win by 81 points, 12.11 (83) to 0.2 (2).
South Morang also started the season off on the receiving end of a big loss, losing to Golden Point Dragons by 58 points, 9.8 (62) to 0.4 (4).
