Friends pay tribute to music man Gian Pagano

Thomastown lost a well-respected and much-loved family man last week when artist and R’n’B DJ/producer Gian Pagano was laid to rest at Northern Memorial Park, Fawkner. St Luke’s at Lalor hosted the funeral and vigil.

Pagano died after a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a car on McKimmies Road near Indigo Way at Bundoora about 1pm on March 22.

Many of his friends posted heartfelt messages on Facebook. They and others also left floral and written tributes to the 23-year-old at the crash site.

His brother, Joseph, posted: “To everyone who knew my brother, I would like to say thank you for all having a part in such an amazing, wonderful and caring person’s life.

“Everyone is hurt by the passing of my brother. We are all grieving at the tragic loss that occurred on March 22nd.

“We all need to be there for each other and show support to all his family and friends.

“His loss will bring each and every one of us closer.”
