Boy stabbed at Broadmeadows train station

A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed in a brazen daylight attack at a busy train station in Broadmeadows.

Police believe the teenager was at the Broadmeadows train station about 3.20pm last Tuesday when he was stabbed in the leg, leaving him with serious injuries.

He is being treated at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Police have charged a 16-year-old Meadow Heights boy with intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence.

The youth was bailed on Friday and is expected to appear before a Children’s Court at a later time.
