A toddler has drowned in a backyard pool in Greenvale.
Paramedics were called to a house in Greenvale shortly before 1pm and performed CPR on a 23-month-old boy but were unsuccessful in their attempts to revive him.
According to 3AW Fairfax Radio reports, the toddler was found in the Buchanan Place house by a family member.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
