Sunbury Rotary’s family market and car boot sale is ready to kickstart a new year’s agenda of projects and programs that support local community and international humanitarian efforts.
The first market for the year is on Saturday with more than 60 stalls due to open. The markets are then rolled out on the first Saturday of every month.
With its own market stall and sausage sizzle, Sunbury Rotary already underwrites both the town’s family community kitchen at the Sunbury Community Centre every Monday from 6pm-8pm and ‘Bangers on Brook’ on Saturdays from midnight till 2am.
The club also sponsors the town’s annual primary school spelling bee, a post-natal cot at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and Donations in Kind – a program that sources surplus goods for use in disadvantaged regions around the world.
» Stall sites are still available, with application forms at rotaryclubsunbury.org.au or call Julie or David Allan on 0400 907 793.
