Whittlesea’s Maltese community will celebrate its heritage tomorrow with traditional music, food, comedy and music.
The event is an opportunity to recognise the Maltese-language selection at the library, and to celebrate Maltese culture.
Beaconsfield-based Maltese comedian Kevin Camilleri (pictured), who will perform at the event, said it was important to foster Maltese culture from generation to generation because there were limited sources of information about the heritage in the wider community.
The event is at Mill Park library, 394 Plenty Road, from 6.30pm.
