There will be glamorous flappers and dapper gents, including
Vanessa Galea and Chris Howse (pictured), at Epping’s Great Gatsby party
next month.
The Whittlesea Community Connections fund-raising trivia
night will celebrate the 1920s jazz era best captured in the movie about
fictional millionaire Jay Gatsby and his extravagant parties.
Guests
will dress as their favourite characters, including flappers, or the
then new breed of 1920s women who wore short skirts and bobbed hair.
Music, auctions and magicians will help raise money for a community bus.
The trivia night will be at the Epping Memorial Hall, 827 High Street
from 6.30pm on October 4. Call 9401 6666.
