Snow is coming to Thomastown. The suburb’s Neighbourhood House has organised a snow-making machine to let residents play for free at its Winter Wonderland next month.
“Not everyone can afford a trip to Mount Buller so we will bring the snow here,” says House manager Justine Sless (pictured with Thomastown West Primary principal Leon Bell, Younes and Nourh).
Locals will have 10 minutes each in the snow pit to make snowballs and snowmen, and there will be free food, face-painting and a visit from SpongeBob SquarePants.
The event is among the House’s Totally Thomastown series of mini-festivals.
The Wonderland is on Saturday, August 3, from 10am to 1pm at the Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre, 52 Main Street, Thomastown.
