Small changes, big results for Whittlesea health

Morang South Primary School pupils including Emily, Olivia and Shaylah (pictured) are jumping into life through a program to get people moving in winter. Whittlesea mayor Rex Griffin says about 60 per cent of adults in the municipality are overweight, and the council is encouraging people to make small changes that will lead to a healthy life. “It all adds up; little changes today have the potential to lead to better health tomorrow so I challenge all residents to kick a footy, throw a Frisbee or take the dog for a walk,” he says.
