Boy from Bundoora hits high note with choir

Bundoora’s Nethum Devendra enjoys the musical skills and discipline he has learned in his three years with the Australian Boys Choir. “You learn a lot about music and performing,” says the 12-year-old. He left on June 28 for Malaysia, where the choir will perform and work with schools. The singers will also fit in sightseeing between performances. Nethum is looking forward to his first overseas trip with the choir. On July 28 the choir will perform at the South Melbourne Town Hall. Details: visit australianboyschoir.com.au.
