Plenty Valley Christian College juniors are getting creative with their environmental awareness. Students from prep to grade 2 will perform The Litter Muncher, a musical about a creature that keeps his village clean.
Teacher and director Julie MacDonald says the show ties in with recycling components of the curriculum and encourages students to look after the yard. “We hope they are learning they need to be good litter munchers,” she says.
Students including (clockwise from top) Alanah, Abique, Emma, Zak and Mikaael will perform on June 20 at 2.15pm at 840 Yan Yean Road, Doreen. Tickets are $5 for families of up to three adults. Children are free.
