Whittlesea Reconciliation honours up for grabs

Nominations are open for the Whittlesea Reconciliation Group’s annual Reconciliation Awards, which celebrate individuals and community groups that have made a valuable contribution to reconciliation in the Whittlesea community. There are four award categories; Individual, Community, Education, and the Reg Blow Champion Award. Karen Bryant (pictured), Aboriginal liaison officer at the Northern Hospital, was last year’s Individual Award winner. In addition to her work at the hospital, Bryant was nominated for her active role in raising awareness, her tireless volunteering, and her large involvement in the Bubup Wilam Early Learning Centre. Nominations close on May 6.
