WHITTLESEA councillors have voted themselves the maximum allowances available for the size of the municipality.
Mayor Rex Griffin gets $93,457 a year and other councillors get $29,263 per annum until June 30, 2017.
To object or make a submission on the pay rise, an advisory committee involving the mayor, Cr Adrian Spinelli and Cr Ricky Kirkham has been organised. No public submissions were made during the submission period.
