Good cooking is coming to Lalor when British chef Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food mobile kitchen arrives in April. The kitchen will be parked outside the Lalor Library in May Road from Monday, April 8, and will offer a five-week course on how to prepare and cook healthy food.
The kitchen is on a two-and-a-half-year journey around Victoria, which started in Bendigo in January, in which food trainers will teach people how to cook meals from scratch using fresh local and seasonal ingredients.
