Doreen’s Country Women’s Association market could be on hold indefinitely, to the dismay of CWA junior member Bella, 11, pictured with market organiser Joanna Mills. The monthly market at Hill Top Park raises money for charity and won council approval last month, but CWA spokeswoman Kate Finlay said a resident had appealed against the decision through the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. It could take up to eight months before the matter is heard.
