There may be double the tears when twins Dylan and Blake Fry start school this week, but it won’t be the boys who are crying. Mum Kristy Fry says seeing the five-year-old preppies off may be emotional.
“It’s a big day for me because my youngest, Lincoln turns one as well,” the South Morang mother says. She says the boys are happy to go to Mernda Primary School because they met their teacher and other preppies at orientation days last year.
Mrs Fry says the first year with twins is the hardest but she is lucky to have the support of the Diamond Valley Multiple Birth Association. The boys start school on January 31. Local schools have different starting dates.
