Job service to help Whittlesea disabled

AN OUTREACH employment service to match disabled people with jobs is starting in Whittlesea.

CVGT Australia would start the service by March 4 at a soon-to-be-decided office, which would complement its Epping office, CVGT Preston office manager Estela Aiello said.

The company’s disability employment service in the Plenty region would include a new branch office in Greensborough and community outreach services in Whittlesea, Hurstbridge and East Doncaster, as well as its existing offices in Epping and Preston.

In an in-house competition, the Plenty team scored the highest number of job placements over the three weeks before Christmas compared with eight other branches, and allowed the Plenty branch to make a $1160 donation to Royal Children’s Hospital and the Rotary Club of Preston’s fight against poliomyelitis.
