Westmeadows is through to the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association’s T20 grand final.
The Warriors were dominant in their semi final win against Maribyrnong Park St Marys on Tuesday night.
Sent in, the Warriors made 2-181 from its overs. The four Warriors batsmen who got a hit all made runs, with skipper Tarek Moughanie and Chinthaka Jayasinghe both making 53.
The Warriors bowlers then backed them up, taking early wickets to put the pressure back on Maribyrnong Park St Marys.
St Marys was in trouble at 4-36, before the middle order steadied the run chase. The damage had been done though, with the Warriors restricting them to 7-124.
Moughanie was the pick of the bowlers taking two wickets, as nine players had the chance to bowl.
The Warriors will play either Burnside Springs or Moonee Valley in the grand final on February 18.
Those two teams will play their semi final on January 23.
