Tullamarine has continued its undefeated win streak in the Essendon District Football League division 1 competition after overcoming Hillside by 33-points playing away from home at Hillside Reserve.
Tullamarine had to work hard early as Hillside took a two-point quarter time lead although they were able to run away from the home team in the end, kicking nine goals to four in the final three quarters.
Shaun Mckernan was impressive for Tullamarine kicking four of his team’s 11 goals for a best on ground performance.
Samuel Laffan was the other multiple goal kicker for Tullamarine with three.
Tullamarine will play Rupertswood in round four, who are 2-1 and coming off a promising 37-point win over the Sunbury Kangaroos.
