T20s final 16 set

The two top in each pool are set in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association T20 competition.

The top two of each pool move into the next round which consists of 16 teams after the pool matches were completed on Tuesday night.

In the Beanud group, Keilor Park lost to Maribyrnong Park St Marys.

The Devils were restricted to 9-90. Scott Liversidge top scored with 28.

The Lions took their time getting the runs, but made it with ease, finishing 2-91.

Airport West Christophers beat St Andrew’s Footscray in the other match.

PEGS, which had a bye, finished on top of the pool, ahead of Maribyrnong Park.

In the Border group, Yarraville Club had a big win against Seabrook.

The Clubber made 5-168 from their overs, with Thilina Masmulla top scoring with 52 not out. It was all single wicket takers for Seabrook.

The Clubbers bowlers were in control from the start, bowling Seabook out for 68.

Viraj Lakshitha took three wickets.

Gellibrand also had a big win, beating Werribee Centrals.

Gellibrand made 5-168 from its overs with William Blair top scoring with 47. Jack Robbins took two wickets for the Centurions.

The Centurions were in trouble at 4-11 and never recovered, finishing 9-74.

Yarraville Club, Gellibrand and Seddon all finished with three wins, with Seddon the team to miss out on a top two spot.

In the Bradman group, East Coburg beat West Coburg St Andrews

Footscray United had a good win against Aberfeldie. The Bulldogs made 3-135 with James and Daniel Deasy both scoring half centuries.

Abers could only manage 6-116 in reply.

Doutta Stars, who had the bye, finished top ahead of West Coburg St Andrews.

In the Hassett pool, Westmeadows sealed top spot with victory against Haig Fawkner.

The Warriors made 4-107 with Michael Pell top scoring with 38 not out.

Haig was bowled out for 88 in reply. Donovan Pell took 4-16.

The Warriors finished the pool group undefeated.

In the Laurie group. Sydenham-Hillside was too strong for Sunbury.

The Storm made 9-130 from its overs with Dylan Knight top scoring

The Roar had a terrible start with the bat and was in trouble at 5-8. It crumbled to be all out for 64.

Darcy Edwards took 4-11 for the Storm.

The Storm finished the pool rounds undefeated, ahead of St Albans.

In the Ponting group, Deer Park had a big win against Sunshine Heights

The Lions made 3-197 from their overs with Aaron Ayre the star of the show with 115 not out off 62 balls.

He hit nine fours and five sixes.

Heights finished 7-95 in reply. Max Hatzoglou top scored with 43 for the Heights.

Bellbridge got the points against Laverton.

Laverton decided to bat first with Hamza Ali top scoring with 41 as it was bowled out 137.

James Lake and Christopher Armstrong took three wickets each.

Bellbridge got the winning runs with seven balls remaining, finishing 5-138.

Parambir Singh top scored with 59.

Deer Park finished top of the pool undefeated, followed by Sunshine United.

In the Taylor group, the Druids got the win against Keilor on the final ball.

The Blues made 4-151 after winning the toss and Malith Cooray top scoring with 67.

Subhan Ramzan took two wickets for the Druids.

It came down to the wire, with the Druids hitting the winning run on the final ball to finished 3-152.

Tom Hazell-Evans top scored with 67 not out.

Grand United also needed until the final over to get over the line against Burnside Springs United.

Burnside made 6-94 with Amrit Sandhu top scoring with 23 not out.

At 3-74, the Gorillas looked on track to get the runs but the wickets started to fall.

They did enough to get the runs with five balls remaining, finished 7-96.

The Druids finished on top of the pool ahead of Sunshine.

In the Waugh group, Point Cook won the battle of Point Cook, beating Point Cook Centrals

The Warriors made 9-151 from their overs with Darcy Harmer top scoring with 55.

Matthew Carey took four wickets for the Sharks.

The Sharks were unable to get their innings going, finishing 6-92.

Altona North got home against Newport-Digman in its match.

The Bulls made 7-96 from their overs with Peter SImpson top scoring 22.

Altona North shared the wickets around.

After being in trouble at 2-20 Altona North steadied. Despite the lost of three late wickets, Altona North got the runs, finishing 7-97.

The Williamstown Imperials continued their good form with a win against Wyndham Vale.

The Imperials made 3-163 with Tom Burton top scoring with 43 not out.

The Vales were unable to have anyone go on with it as they were bowled out for 119 in the last over.

Trent de Villers top scored with 27 at the top of the order.

Point Cook Centrals finished on top ahead of Altona North.
