The Diamond Valley Cricket Association summer smash grand finals have been postponed.
The three senior and one junior grand final were meant to be played this Sunday, but due to predicted rain the competition has moved them back a week.
“Due to the forecasted poor weather on Sunday, the summer smash grand finals have be moved to Sunday March 1,” the association said.
“Thanks to all the participating clubs, players, sponsors, partners and umpires for accommodating this difficult and complex change.
“We look forward to Rosanna hosting a fantastic day of cricket.”
Starting the day at 9am will be Mernda against Banyule in the under-17s, followed by Keon Park and Rivergum in the Mash Shield, Mernda and Lower Plenty in the Money Shield, with the Barclay Shield grand final between Rosanna and North Eltham Wanderers to conclude the day.
