The structure for the Northern Football League women’s competitions has been revealed after the grading process has been completed.
Each division will have the same number of teams as they did in the grading process, with eight to compete in both division 1 and 2, while 12 teams will play in division 3.
In division 1, Ivanhoe and West Preston-Lakeside have been promoted while Lower Plenty and Darebin 1 will drop down to division 2.
Newcomers Kilmore have been promoted into division 2 alongside Hurstbridge. South Morang is one of the other teams in division 2.
Thomastown and Diamond Creek Women’s 2 will now compete in division 3 after dropping down. Epping, Laurimar and Whittlesea are part of the 12 team competition.
Games in round five and six have officially been confirmed, with the remaining fixture for all three divisions to be released later this week.
