Northern Football League chief executive Martin Stillman is stepping down after nearly three years.
The league announced on Monday that the board had accepted the resignation of Stillman
“In accepting Martin’s resignation board chair, Michael Peacock acknowledged Martin’s service and thanked him for his contribution to the NFNL over almost three years, since commencing as CEO in January 2023,” the league said in a statement.
“Of particular note, was Martin’s role in leading the development and adoption of the 2024 – 2028 NFNL strategic plan, guiding NFNL direction and operations into the future. We wish Martin well in his future endeavours.”
In the statement, Stillman said he wished the league continued success in the future.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my three years with the NFNL and am incredibly grateful for the experiences and relationships I’ve built during that time,” he said.
“As I now look ahead to the next chapter in my career, I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone associated with the league. I wish the NFNL continued success in the future.”
The NFNL board will now commence the process for the recruitment of a new chief executive.
