Roxburgh Park through to grand final

Roxburgh Park is through to the Victorian Turf Cricket Association division 5 grand final.

The Falcons, who finished on top, beat Footscray Angliss in the semi finals on Saturday.

Footscray was bowled out for just 94, with Jack Lishman top scoring with 20 at the top of the order.

The wickets were shared around for the Falcons.

The Falcons started well with the bat and were cruising at 2-73, before losing three quick wickets to slump to 5-78.

The Falcons steadied and finished 6-98 in the 30th over.

They will face Williamstown Congs in the grand final.

The Congs beat the Melton South Royals for a second straight week.

After being 3-16, the Congs recovered to make 6-155.

Duy Pham top scored with 57 not out.

The Royals were in trouble early at 5-43. It was too far to com back from, as they were bowled out for 112.

Andrew Hodgart top scored with 23 for the Royals, while Gurjit Singh took four wickets for the Congs.

It was semi final heartbreak for Greenvale Kangaroos in division 2, losing on the final ball.

Facing the top side, Sydenham-Hillside, the Kangaroos pushed them all the way.

The Kangaroos made 9-157 with lots of batters getting starts. Matthew Lucente top scored with 36.

Three players took two wickets each for the Storm.

It came down to the final ball, with the Storm needing three to win. A boundary to Warren Hackney got the job done.

The Storm finished 7-159, with Ben Green making 70.

Kyle Newnham took five wickets for the Kangaroos.

The Storm will face Newport Digman in the grand final.
