The Northern District Softball Association is holding a come and try day this Saturday.
The association which is based at Mill Park caters from under-8’s all the way through to an open women’s competition.
There are six different programs and competitions within the association, where players can represent one of four different clubs.
The under-eight teeball competition and the under-13, under-16 and under-19 competitions are all mixed competitions.
The association is seeking new players across all age groups and of all abilities for the season which runs from October to March
The come and try day will include skills and drills, and game activities to allow participants the chance to get a real softball experience.
Starting at 10am, it will also include a barbecue.
