Plenty Valley’s Jasmine Nevins could make her senior Victorian debut in the Women’s National Cricket League.

Coming off a strong Victorian Premier Cricket season and under-19 national championships, Nevins has been announced in Victoria’s extended squad for two matches this week.

Five players could make their debut for Victoria as it fields a different looking side in back-to-back matches against Queensland with several players on national duty.

Nevins is part of the Cricket Victoria Victorian Female Emerging Performance squad and the Vic Country under-19 emerging players squad.

She told Star Weekly late last year that playing state cricket was one of her goals.

Former Bats players Sophie Day, Rhi O’Donnell and Sophie Reid are also part of the squad.

Victoria sits in fourth spot on the WNCL table, following a pair of wins against New South Wales.
