Roxburgh Park Football Club is disappointed with the outcome into an investigation into the result of its round 3 Essendon District Football League division 2 match against Keilor Park.
The official final score on the EDFL website says that Keilor Park won the match 10.11(71) – 7.14(56), but there has been some conjecture over whether it was correct.
After the match the league launched an investigation into the final result.
“The score that is on Sporting Pulse, was what was submitted by both goal umpires,” the league told Star Weekly.
“We have to go by what it submitted by them.”
A Magpies source said they believe the scores recorded for the third quarter are incorrect.
The results on Sporting Pulse show Keilor Park kicked four goals for the quarter and the Magpies kicked two goals.
They said their records show the goals should have been around the other way, meaning the Magpies would have finished ahead and won the game.
Roxburgh Park president Jason Bolitho said he wouldn’t discuss the situation only that he and club were disappointed with the outcome of the investigation.
Keilor Park said they didn’t want to comment on the situation.
