Lalor United appoints women’s coach

Lalor United has signed Oliver Maneski as its women’s coach as the club prepares to relaunch its women’s side.

The club had made a real focus of re-establishing a women’s side for next year after not having the numbers for a team this year.

“Maneski began his football journey in his native Macedonia before moving to Australia, where he has spent the past two decades coaching across both senior and junior levels,” Lalor United said on social media.

“His extensive experience includes time at Epping City, Mill Park, Banyule City, Whittlesea Ranges and Keilor Park.

“After 15 years, Oliver makes his return to Lalor United Sloga FC, bringing with him a wealth of experience, a deep understanding of player development, and a C Licence in coaching.

“Known for his passion, professionalism and drive for success, Oliver is ready to lead our senior women’s squad into an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow and elevate women’s football at Sloga.”

The club is having an open training session for any interested players on 18 November after a come and meet night this week.

“We’re not just building a team — we’re building a movement,” the club said on social media.

“Join a club that’s innovative, inclusive, and ready to lead the way for women in football.”
