The Blues led by 16 points at quarter time before blowing the margin out to 53 at the main break.
The Jets struggled to hit the scoreboard as the Blues continued to score at will.
The Blues would have no issue at all, coming away with a 17.14 (116)-2.8 (20) win.
Daniel Micevski, William Madden and Ryan Townsend were named their best.
Meanwhile in division 1, Tullamarine proved no match for West Coburg.
Having had a number of changes during the week after several injuries on Anzac Day, the Demons knew they had a challenge on their hands.
West Coburg started well but the Demons remained in touch at half time, trailing by 11 points.
After half time it was all the Burgers who were running on top of the ground. It ended up being a comprehensive win, with West Coburg taking the points, 17.7 (109)-8.7 (55).
Joel Flanigan and Jarrod Stephens kicked two goals each.
Jake Long and Matthew Jones were named their best.
Roxburgh Park and Craigieburn both had byes having played their round four clash on Good Friday.
In division 2, Westmeadows remain undefeated after a good win against Northern Saints.
The Tigers continued their good form and came away with the win, 16.10 (106)-10.7 (67).
In the women’s competitions, Westmeadows suffered a loss in premier division, while Greenvale beat Tullamarine in division 1.
