Hume Tennis and Community Centre is giving back to the community on Friday with free court hire.
The centre which only reopened this week after COVID-19 restrictions, is encouraging people to come down and have a hit on the public holiday.
Manager Tim Connelly said they wanted to give back to the community and Friday’s Victorian Thank You day public holiday seemed the right occasion.
He said they also wanted to show that tennis is COVID safe sport and it was a good opportunity to get out doors and be active.
“We have been looking at a way of saying thank you and acknowledging our local community for the support we have received over the past 102 days of being closed, what better way than to open the courts this Friday for free court hire,” Connelly said.
Those interested in playing need to register and Hume Tennis will then confirm a time.
