Hume City will take on Green Gully tonight in hope of picking up its first win of the season after recording losses in its last seven matches in the National Premier League.

City began the season with two draws and has not been able to record an additional point since then, leaving them on the bottom of the ladder.

A win could put them above Eastern Lions who sit two points above Hume in second last position.

Following its 2-1 loss to St Albans in round eight, coach Nick Hegarty announced he was stepping down from the role post-game.

The club has been able to compete this season although polish in front of goals has held them back from getting results.

Could round 10 bring some winning success for the club?

Game kicks off at 8pm tonight at Green Gully.
