Hume City have picked up its first win of the season following a 10 game winless streak and eight game losing streak in the National Premier League.
A goal to Lachlan Weier in the 69th minute proved to be the winner for Hume against the Eastern Lions at the Valley Park.
The win gets Hume off the bottom of the ladder and into second last in 13th while the Lions now sit one point behind Hume.
Hume will take on Dandenong Thunder in their next clash.
