The coaching merry-go-round at Hume City continues with the National Premier League club announcing the departure of Ersan Gulum.
The club took to social media on Monday night posting a short statement about the coaching change.
“Hume City Football Club wish to announce that we have parted ways with senior head coach Ersan Gulum,” it said.
“We wish Ersan the best of luck in his future endeavours and thank him for his contribution to the club.”
Colin Cooper has been appointed the club’s new senior coach.
Cooper is no stranger to Hume City having had many years at the club and coaching the under-21s this season.
Gulum, who started his career at Hume before going on to play on the biggest stage, was appointed Hume coach with two games left last season.
He was the fourth coach at Hume last season, after Nick Hegarty, Peter Tichy and Goran Lozanovski.
Gulum helped the side avoid relegation, as they won the final two games of the season.
This season Hume is sitting in eighth spot after 12 rounds, with three wins, five draws and four losses.
Hume is in action tonight [Tuesday] in the fifth round of the Australia Cup against state league 4 west side Keilor Wolves.
