Hume City part ways with Marchioli

The coaching merry go round at Hume City is again in motion with the club parting ways with Ric Marchioli.

The club announced last week that it had parted ways with Marchioli, effective immediately.

It’s the latest coaching change for the club which has had multiple coaches over the past few years.

“Marchioli joined the club in November 2024 and has overseen a strong start to the 2025 NPL Victoria season, as well as guiding the senior men’s team to the quarter finals of the Dockerty Cup,” the club said on social media last week.

The club is currently in the process of appointing its next head coach.”

Hume City president Ersan Gulum said they would like to thank Marchioli for all his efforts during his time at Hume City.

“We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

On Saturday night, the first game since the coaching decision, Hume City beat Dandenong City, 3-0.

Hume led 1-0 at half time before scoring to late goals to seal the win.

After 17 rounds, Hume sits fifth on the ladder.
